One of the things that make Denver different from the other bustling cities in the USA is its close proximity to plenty of natural landscapes. It is not a surprise that majority of the Denver population and the people that browse Denver luxury real estate listings are nature-lovers. Breathtaking views can be seen from Denver luxury homes, and many sports and outdoor activities are available for the locals to enjoy.
However, that does not mean Denver only knows how to have fun with nature. It also consists of many establishments and hangout places that only wake up when the sun goes down.
To introduce you to the vibrant Mile High city at night, here is a list of things to do for an ideal nightlife in Denver.
Eat good food
For late-night eats, Izakaya Ronin in Brighton Boulevard is the go-to place. It is a speakeasy open until midnight Tuesday through Thursday and until 1:00 AM on weekends with Japanese food offerings and whisky cocktails.
Another good place for good food in the city is Cart Driver which is tucked in a 640 square feet shipping container space and offers wood-fried clam pizza, oysters, and other late-night drink and snack specials through midnight. There is also the Denver Diner that serves locals’ classic cravings like burgers and breakfast plates for 24 hours every day except Christmas.
Drink great beer
One of the things Denver is proud of are its artisan beers. For perfect seasonal beer, you can visit Denver Beer Co. that makes sure you will rarely get the same pint twice by making creative recipes in small batches and switches out most of its taps on a weekly basis.
Another brewery to visit is Renegade which believes in the philosophy that the taproom is about good friends and good beer only, making it a great place to hang out or discover and socialize with new people. Although it is one of the new breweries in Denver, it has already won bronze at the Great American Beer Festival for the imperial stout category.
Watch live performances
A night in Denver will not be complete without watching live performances in any of their bars. Denver’s music industry is very active and has nurtured many artists from different genres of pop, jazz, classical, and more.
You should visit the self-described “gastro brothel” Ophelia’s Electric Soapbox which hosts a variety of music events almost every night from open mic nights to solo jazz musicians performing, and Streets of London Pub that has been drawing more people with its recent steady stream of local punk and rock acts as well as national bands like U.S. Bombs and Guttermouth.
It is also a treat to go to Grizzly Rose which hosts music nights six times a week where some of the country-western’s rising and already popular stars perform at.
Dance the night away
Last but definitely not the least, let yourself loose in Mile High City by dancing the night away! You can go to The Church, a church turned nightclub, which is open from Fridays to Sundays for people wanting to get pumped over with music from international disc jockeys (DJs).
You should also totally visit Vinyl where you can listen to music from international DJs and performers while admiring the incredible views of Denver from their rooftop patio!
There’s no time to waste. Buy a posh home in Denver now to enjoy the lively nightlife along with the beautiful nature and other wonderful experiences that the city offers.
